The Urban Playground Team blend authentic French “Art du deplacement” with urban and contemporary dance in a unique language we call Performance Parkour. The Team tours extensively both Nationally & Internationally for clients including the British Council and the National Theatre. Since 2007 we have worked in partnership with co-creators of Parkour “Gravity Style”, (France), appearing in their feature film “Come Fly With Us”. The BBC’s Blue Peter followed the creation of “The Next Level” show and the Architecture For Everyone documentary “Our Urban Playground”, made in collaboration with the Stephen Lawrence Trust, featured our design of the UK’s first permanent Parkour Training Area. Prodigal Theatre’s UPG Team is the UK’s original Parkour Performance company and is internationally recognized as such.
