Since graduating from Brighton University with a degree in Theatre and Visual Art Chris has been working continually for nearly 20 years as a lighting designer, composer & sound designer and as a technical & production manager for numerous theatre and dance companies in the UK, Europe and throughout the world. His credits include work with Divas Dance Theatre, The People Show, Gob Squad, Tim Crouch / News From Nowhere, Inspector Sands, Sound & Fury and Darren Johnston's Array. He has also released 5 albums and two EP’s, touring extensively throughout Europe with his band, Wevie Stonder. Chris has been the lighting designer on all of Prodigal Theatre & The Urban Playground Team’s work since 2001. He has lit eleven productions & co-productions for the company and since 2007 has been the principle sound designer for the UPG Team blending original music and “found sounds” to create the spellbinding background for the Napoli Teatro Festival Italia Commission “A Day In The Life”. In March of 2010 Chris relocated to Germany and in addition to continuing his work with select UK companies he is now the lighting designer for both Residance of the Glaesel Stiftung in Detmold and the Tchepko Dance Company in Bielefeld.
