Prodigal co-founder Alister O’Loughlin trained in the UK before joining Dah Teatar, a Belgrade based theatre laboratory with whom he performed from ’97 - ’99. Between 2002 and 2010 he was one of the Nightingale Theatre’s actor-managers supporting the development of over 100 new pieces of theatre and dance, and hosting a wide range of contemporary performance masters. He is the writer/performer of the multi-award winning Tragedian Trilogy and performed as Bosola in “Ten Thousand Several Doors” winning “Best Show” at the Brighton Festival where it’s twice been staged. He performed as “the revenger” in the “Angel” winning “Queen of the Slaughter”. He is the lead coach of Prodigal’s Urban Playground Team, and Prodigal’s spokesperson. He is a founder member of the 1595 Club. He is currently the only UK based traceur to have graded with the Gravity Style advanced students in Paris. He is mentored by Steven Berkoff with whom he performed Tiresius in Oedipus at the Pleasance, Edinburgh, and for whom he presented the Tragedian as part of Riverside Studios “Berkoff Presents” Season.
